The Love family left Kansas in 2001 bound for Invercargill, New Zealand. This is the story of our wild adventures down under. Saturday, June 27, 2009. After our discovery of the Thermette (way cool), I decided to search for other Kiwi inventions, icons or 'firsts'. Here's what I found:. Well maybe he didn't invent it, but A J Hackett opened the world's first commercial bungy jumping site in 1988 after achieving notoriety for illegally bungy jumping from the Eiffel Tower in 1997. The Love family left Kansas in 2001 bound for Invercargill, New Zealand. This is the story of our wild adventures down under. Sunday, August 12, 2007. Graduation trip - London. The quality of our flight from Tokyo to London couldn't match that of our previous day. The flight was packed, making the tight seating even more cramped. The movies were not as good. Pete's video died, so I traded seats with him. We did have metal eating utensils, the first I've seen on a flight for six years. Pete found a stage ...

The Love family left Kansas in 2001 bound for Invercargill, New Zealand. This is the story of our wild adventures down under. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. After our abortive effort to take a walk on Otago Peninsula a couple days ago, we decided to walk a bit closer to home- Tomahawk Beach. The clouds were still shrouding the peninsula, but the beach was so warm that we pealed off our jackets and shirts and walked in our T-shirts. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. We decided to expand our daily walk a bit and ex...

The Love family left Kansas in 2001 bound for Invercargill, New Zealand. This is the story of our wild adventures down under. Sunday, September 30, 2007. Graduation trip - Kings College Chapel. Kings College Chapel sounds like it should be a little place, but it rivaled Ely Cathedral in size and grandeur. The stone work, as you can see, is impressive. As are the stained glass windows. But the ceiling was the most awesome part of all. Graduation trip - Punting on the Cam. Graduation trip - Graduation Day.

But, each baby has had its own trail- Gabe, our first grandson, was also premature, with the extra anxiety of not knowing if we going to be able to keep him. Plus, we've had half a world of distance between us and him. It has been like looking through the window of a candy store. So near, yet so far. John was also overdue and had to be induced. Karen was...

Is that ok to use teeny needles? Should I change yarns? I am itching to get started. thanks, Lori. Posted by Lori at 12:28 PM. Posted by Amby at 7:48 AM. I don...
