Fiber Arts Made Here. Gallery show at Rangsit University. Jan 21 – 27, 2014. Visits as a longtime volunteer at the Tennessee Aquarium have peaked my interest in the endless variety of colors and shapes found in the aquatic world. An Aquarium art exhibit by glass artist Dale Chihuly, the recent display by mixed media sculptor Lanny Burgner, and an Imax show on coral reefs that highlighted the work of Jason deCaires Taylor as well as the many plants and animals all informed the piece. Close up of yardage.

Fiber Arts Made Here. June 15, 2015 / weavingschool. Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center. Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance. I returned to the Atlanta area this past weekend for the opening of Continuous Threads. Turned out they had used one of my felt images on all the signage panels. That was a real ego booster I must admit. The work in the show is beautiful and I encourage anyone in the Atlanta area to check it out. The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center. Many thanks from me to the SEFAA.

Weaving for a Sense of Wholeness. October 29, 2010 in Spinning. I’ve had two large bags of undyed corriedale cross and blue faced leicester top sitting in my craft room for the last year.
