Film Night August - Einstein and Eddington. Monday 22 Aug, 2016. This is a full length movie covering the life, times and beliefs of Einstein and Eddington and how they had an unlikely relationship that lead Eddington to take an expedition to Africa to take photos of a total solar eclipse in 1919 to prove Einsteins theory correct. It has some remarkable history in it. It is a fully acted movie as opposed to a documentary. This film is 1 hour 40 minutes long and will be the only film shown on the night.

That uncrowned king of sci-fi music in the 'Seventies, Dudley Simpson, assembles his eponymous orchestra. It's an explosion of high brass, low strings and manic tom-toms.
