Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday! I wasn't thinking about trying to have two birthday parties in one weekend. It's a little chaotic. All kidding aside, it was a wonderful weekend full of fun and family! We are so thrilled to celebrate the gift of our two children and to be able to do it all together really is kind of fun. Here's what we were up to on this weekend of celebrations for the Blackstock kiddos. The fun started with a Batman party for Collin! The boys had so much fun!

Friday, October 30, 2009. A year ago today. We were bringing home our little pumpkin! For a long time he did not like toys, but he does seem to be more interested lately. Also, he has finally taken a liking to the tupperware/sippycup cabinet in the kitchen. That took a long time! He has some cute tricks, too. He walked at 11 months! He can wave and say bye bye. Ryan asleep on the floor with his ax.Chad went to check on him the other night, and he found Ryan in Kate's room curled up asleep after we had tucked him in. Sunday, August 09, 2009. I saw the movie Julie and Julia this afternoon, and it inspired me to start blogging again. I have done such a horrible job keeping up with Ben's milestones and what we have done this summer. Shame on me. To sum it up:. He pattycaked for the first time with me yesterday (Aug 8). Wednesday, August 12, 2009. And they lived happily ever after. Warning.if you are not in the mood for a little mushiness, don't read. Our 9th anniversary is today, so I am having a moment. :). I am still sad when he leaves in the morning, and my heart still skips a beat when he walks through the door at night.
