Love, Laugh, Live. Saturday, January 30, 2010. You have requested and I have listened.Hello to all of you. I know it's been a while but this is considered leisure and I don't get too much of that anymore. I know I've written it before but geesh. Life lets take this a little slower. Why doesn't that statement work like a new relationship. But for real- our trip was great. We drove into 9 states and saw some of our country's finest. Aquarium. VanHoorik's Zoo: December 2009
http://vanhoorikszoo.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Love, Laugh, Live. Sunday, December 27, 2009. My theory is that mom's don't get as many colds and flu stuff because we are on the front line of it all. We catch it, clean it and cure it so we are more immune to it? I'm not sure who was having more fun.Tony or the kids.or is Tony still one of the kids? Then in May my dad turns 50 and Hannah and I are going to see Taylor Swift. (her big Christmas present this year) We will also be continuing the parent taxi service as usual. VanHoorik's Zoo: September 2009
http://vanhoorikszoo.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Love, Laugh, Live. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He's cute, cuddly, about 2 1/2 feet tall and incredibly busy! Okay, so selling your baby is not appropriate but, this momma is getting tired. How is it that 19 months can be my favorite age and my least favorite at the same time. Let me tell you why. Well in Owens world that would be a No! He loves his crib, he loves his blankies, and he loves his nuk. That sure is a lot of baggage for a 19 month old! But, why do I want to keep him all the same? Hannah love...

Just as I am. Thursday, January 7, 2010. Life (and snow) have been going at full speed here in the middle. But we are still here, cold, alive, healthy, busy. Here is what we have been up to since my last post;. Elle tuned 13, yikes! We moved out of privatized military housing and hope never to return to it. Ben put on Captain. Elle and Jake had their winter recitals. Jake, my extrovert, has stage fright, who knew? Beks turned 2 and we had 29 people over to break in our new house. And they all fit! One im...

Just as I am. Friday, November 20, 2009. Proctor and Gamble and Thanksgiving. Nothing, we would just like to thank our military families. Uh, yes please. So he brings me a 15ish pound Butterball and wishes us a Happy Thanksgiving. I said thank you, while trying not to cry, and headed for the line. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. This term was an adventure. I have been taking all online courses until this fall. I like the online courses. I like the annonimity and working at my own pace. I took...Pour out of y...

http://bkejrlowe.blogspot.com/2009/11/im-still-here.html
Just as I am. Monday, November 16, 2009. Tonight was the final night of class for this term. I am exhausted, but I did it. Now maybe I can get back to the things I did before research papers and concrete and specific language took over my life, like blogging and reading for fun and cooking real meals. For now, sleep. Oh, and Rachael, I promise to get that recipe on here soon. Great, I will be waiting patiently for it. November 17, 2009 at 8:28 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

adventures of a stay at home mom: can anyone do it all right? parenting guidelines
http://thegrosschaos.blogspot.com/2011/04/can-anyone-do-it-all-right-parenting.html
Adventures of a stay at home mom. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Can anyone do it all right? I've come to the conclusion that there are simply too many 'rules' in parenting; can anyone do everything the right. I know I can't. This all started to snowball in my head when Will saw the dentist and has a cavity at 3.5 years old! People have made jokes about Will's healthy eating habits and I have had to tell him "no more fruit today" on a somewhat regular basis. He chooses veggies over a cookie! I'm all about keep...

adventures of a stay at home mom: October 2011
http://thegrosschaos.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Adventures of a stay at home mom. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. So, what did you do today? Staying home is: fill in the blank. Not very often, but sometimes, I get a not so awesome question or comment from my husband when he walks in the door: "Looks like a tornado came through here! Still in your pajamas, I see. Rough day for you, huh! So, what did you do. Sometimes it's not even serious and more of a joke because I know he kind of understands ( kind of. But even in those times, it makes me. Unload clean...
