Interviews and Fun Facts. Author Q and A. Terry had an idyllic childhood, the kind that doesn't provide any inspiration for angsty literary works. That might be one of the reasons she sticks with humor in her writing—it's what she grew up with. Those are Terry's parents (on right), posing in front of her dad's fraternity house at the University of Oregon. Ten years after she graduated from college with a degree in history, Terry went back to get a teaching credential, because she'd always wanted to be a ...

Terry Stone: January 2009
http://terryjostone.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Baby, It's Cold Out There. No joking, it was 3 degrees this morning. Brr. That meant another two hour delay for the kids. Which meant that by the time they climbed into the bus, my dog was wired up. Otis, the dog, and Art, my youngest, cannot be around each other for any extended period of time (think 5 minutes) without a boisterous romp ensuing. I don't romp. Especially not with a dog half my size. Sometimes, I really miss my little beagle! Otis staring at. . . 3 A book that...

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Is It Summer Yet? Because I'm ready for a day at the beach. Enough of this silly freezing rain and other yuck. No, never say anything like that because something evil will happen. I really need to learn how to put Youtube videos up. There's a song that is stuck in my head and I want to share. Stephanie Rowe (aka Stephie Davis): Ow.
http://stephanierowe.blogspot.com/2006/05/ow.html
Thursday, May 18, 2006. Sometimes writing a book is like the best orgasm in the world. Just one long high and when it's over, you sit back and let your body quiver with happy exhaustion. Other times, writing a book is like taking a cement block and slamming it into your head. Repeatedly. All day. All night. While being forced to watch your worst enemy steal the guy of your dreams right before. Guess which kind of book I'm writing right now? That's right. It's a bad-hair-cement-block kind of book.

Stephanie Rowe (aka Stephie Davis): Nightmare 101: The Blank Page
http://stephanierowe.blogspot.com/2006/06/nightmare-101-blank-page.html
Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Nightmare 101: The Blank Page. Okay, I'm back. I finished my book, and I think it turned out okay (will wonders never cease? And then my brain completely fell into a puddle of mush and I lost the inability to think, function or even look at the computer for ten days. But now I am crawling my way back into the breathing, living and somewhat functioning world.which means it's time to start working on my next project. All I know is the genre. But man, where do I start? W w w . ...
