Sunday, July 25, 2010. Before you were born, I intended to write you a letter every month, but you came along and have wanted to spend so much time curled up with me that I never seemed to have time. And really, it seemed that you would always want to stay right by my side, so I didn’t even feel like the letters were necessary. But then independence started to happen. Sunday, August 2, 2009. Put the needle to the yarn. For the past month, I was having a hard time believing in the second trimester transformation. The magical day when all of a sudden morning sickness would stop, energy would return at lightening speed, and maybe, just maybe, I'd want to eat yummy food again. Thursday, September 24, 2009. I've been trying to eat all the major food groups lately and it's much easier said than done. Stir frys are no longer that appetizing to me, so I've turned to pasta and sauce, usually mixing in some veggies from our CSA. My recent favorite has been lasagna. I've been making it in our slow cooker because I don't have to cook and wait when I'm already hungry for dinner. For some reason they all came out kind of dark. I was just using the "point and click" option on my camera, since it was hard enough to get the puppy to sit still enough to be in focus, so that's probably the reason. My little Tequila and me. We took the dogs for a very long walk in the park, went out to dinner, took a nap and watched a movie. Very nice, relaxing day. Then we had a birthday dinner for Guy's aunt with his family, which was fun. Afterwards we came home and decided, at 6 o'clock at night, that it would be a great idea to rearrange our house!

Now if only it would warm up enough outside for me to go take pictures. I tried to on Monday, but my hands froze within minutes - to the point of not being able to hold onto the camera.
