Vegan*asm: October 2007
http://veganasm.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 30, 2007. The other night we got out and watched a live improv group called Girls Girls Girls. It's a local improv musical group, comprised of all women. They perform at theaters around town, and do improv musicals with ideas suggested from the audience. It was a very small crowd that night, but still alot of fun. They even chose my suggestion for that nights performance and did Library: The Musical! And we got 2 small dinner salads with their housemade Raspberry Vinnagrette. I would...

Strawberry and the World of Vegan Food. Vegan girl Kitchen =? Veganism is not a personal identity and eating meat is not a personal choice (Or, outing myself as a crazy vegan) →. Surly service: Part of the Portland experience. November 4, 2009. But you know what people seem to bitch about the most? The service they get in Portland. And you know what? sunrise, sunset: September 2006

A space on the web where i extract the interesting from various outlets and regurgitate it all on one site. Friday, September 08, 2006. The slaugher of 90,000 horses every year that occurs in the United States (in order for their meat to be shipped abroad for food) will no longer occur. This is a huge deal! If it is "necessary" to eat farm animals, then I must be a living, breathing phenomenom. Someone contact the National Enquirer. Regardless, I am so happy about this news. Hooray for horsies. And has b...

Eat Vegan.: Homemade Vegan Corndogs
http://mattandbobbieskitchenlove.blogspot.com/2008/05/homemade-vegan-corndogs.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2008. No, I have not lost my mind. Yes, these are (or, were) amazing. I initially set out in search of a vegan corndog recipe and this one. So here it is, with a little tweaking, VEGAN CORNDOGS! 5 veggie hot dogs, cut in half. 10 bamboo skewers or popsickle sticks (optional). 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (in the "veganwolf.com" recipe, I took "bp" to mean baking powder- I must have been right). 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened soymilk. Stick a skewer in e...

mouth-canyon: Fall dinner
http://mouth-canyon.blogspot.com/2007/10/fall-dinner.html
I like to cook. It's really that simple. Thursday, October 25, 2007. I know it seems like Alice Waters and Girl Scout cookies have nothing in common, but they both inspired a really fantastic Fall dinner. Seriously. When I was in elementary school I decided that I hated peanut butter. Sometime in high school I ate peanut butter again (we didn't eat this stuff at home as it's not staple of Russian food), and guess what? She made a vegan version of samoas. From yet another blog. Ate them for breakfast.

4 Reasons I Hate Rachael Ray | The Veg Blog
http://www.vegblog.org/archive/2007/06/26/4-reasons-i-hate-rachael-ray
4 Reasons I Hate Rachael Ray. June 26, 2007. I know, I know, it’s low-hanging fruit to take shots at Rachael Ray, but she keeps coming up in daily conversation and I’ve gotta get this out of my system. I wish Isa would just challenge her to a boxing match or something. She spells her name stupidly. The fact she can take the enormously annoying acronym-turned-catchphrase and turn it into a marketing gimmick. She’s every-freakin’-where. She’s on boxes of Triscuits. For Buddha’s sake. She’s an idiot. Oh, an...

des mots pour se taire: juin 2009
http://desmotspoursetaire.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Des mots pour se taire. Stop-motion / slow motion. Her morning elegance, d'Oren Lavie. Et Alone in Tokyo, de Philip Bloom. Alone in Tokyo HD. Elle a...
