Monday, July 20, 2015. By the time you read this, I will already have had foot surgery at Linksfield Clinic to remove a Morton's neuroma. From my right foot. It started about 4 years ago while we were hiking at Groenkloof Nature Reserve, and has gotten progressively worse over the years with almost constant pain in my foot. Monday, June 29, 2015. Hello, I'm back from an awesome, incredible and amazing holiday. Here is a roundup of the first week in Seattle and Vancouver. We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel. Apparently the only hotel on the shore front in Seattle. It was good. We visited the Space Needle in Seattle. And marveled at the glass creations in. Chihuly Garden and Glass. Thursday, August 6, 2015. The comfort of family. While I was at home for 3 weeks recovering from foot surgery, my brother Robbie, my sister-in-law Tonia and the girls came to visit. I was starting to suffer from some serious cabin fever, so their visit was well timed. We went out for a few meals. Katy and Elizabeth are crazy about horses at the moment. The next morning, we had breakfast at Urban Angel. An outstanding organic café in Boskruin, Johannesburg. Elizabeth really has my sweet tooth, poor baby.

Friday, 31 July 2015. I was invited to a surprise Baby Shower for Nikki who works at our Roodepoort Branch . She is one of those kids who just creeps into your heart and refuses to leave! The staff in the branch bought her a whole lot of items and the proceeded to "decorate" the back office with the items .
