The Manor Family: March 2012
http://elijahmanor.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. So, I'm thankful for a break this week and for a chance to look through my pictures and remember that we did learn and we did have fun! If I don't make an effort to remember the good times, it is too easy to only focus on the difficult ones and fall into a trap thinking I can't do this. We checked out a few fun books about the Arctic from the library. Elijah helped Abby to make an igloo out of marshmallows. It turned out so nicely! We used water colors and masking tape to create ...

The Manor Family: November 2011
http://elijahmanor.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 25, 2011. Like frequent fliers on airplanes? We went to Cheekwood to see the scarecrows and their cowboy exhibit. Nana joined us. Ever since shortly before last Easter, we’ve had a little “prayer corner” for the children. It sits right next to my “prayer chair” as it is affectionately called. I was inspired by A Holy Experience. To create a repentance box, and from that we extended it into a place for them to have quiet time right next to me. Abby has her Early Reader Bible. We do not cu...

Last year Abby had an Ariel themed pool party and she had such a good time that she wanted another one this year! Friends and family came to celebrate with Abby. You don’t have to be like any other family that you see. You are free to create your own rhythm of what works for you and your children. Okay, now back to the woods! Some of the library books we enjoyed. More book about woods we read. Filling out her animal notebook page. Elijah took Abby and ...

Saturday, June 13, 2009. Abby and I went around to what seemed like a million garage sales surrounding our neighborhood in search of a big girl bike. We found the above pink Barbie bike with training wheels, helmet, pads, etc. for $20! As you can tell, she is very excited about her new bike :). Tuesday, June 09, 2009. Enoch @ 11 Months. Enoch just turned 11 months. As long as he is holding something, he can take steps (like if he is holding my hands or the couch). Friday, June 05, 2009. She was such a ha...
