Sunday, July 21, 2013. Those tart little treats, with their thorns and threat of snakes. No match for my lady. The farm's forests is running wild with blackberry briars ripe for the picking. No for me to work my magic. Stir 1qt of fresh berries with 1 cup of sugar. Let set. 1 Stick of butter melted in cake pan in 350 °F oven. 1-1/2 cups self-rising flower. 1 cup of whole milk. Pour batter over melted butter. DO NOT STIR INTO BUTTER! Gently pour berries on top of batter. Wait, there's more!
