The new wall, which is the one in use these days, can be just seen at the right of the photo. The old wall, built in the 50's, is shown at the left of the photo. As Lake Eildon continued to recede. It is a fascinating old bridge, and I imagine it must have carried a fair amount of traffic in it's day, with all the farm vehicles travelling around.
