It’s a Sham. November 14, 2011 in Roubo-Moxon. Still waiting on my oil to entirely dry. Meanwhile, I thought I would fix something that I knew would bug me all the time. My big honkin’ wooden vise jaw is too massive for the few inches of threading in the big wooden nut in the leg vise, and as a result the big wooden screw tilts downwards towards the jaw. The Tool Fund | Adventures in Woodworking
https://adventuresinwoodworking.wordpress.com/toolfund
Tool Fund balance as of May 17 2010: zero. I receive no regular salary, so tool purchases are few and far between. I figure, why not beg? So I’ve set up the Neanderthal Apprentice Tool Fund. If you like the content and direction of Adventures in Woodworking, or just think I’m a super guy, why not just click the ‘Donate’ icon below and chip in a dollar or two? All money donated toward the Tool Fund will go directly towards the purchase of high-quality (and usually low-priced) hand tools. On Sketch of Bench.

The list of tools at my disposal was equally spartan:. A low-end Delta table saw. An old Craftsman 3/8" corded drill. An old Craftsman sabre-saw. I also didn't re...
