The shriek pierced the darkness shrouding him, the inky swirl of emerging into consciousness. He grit his teeth Who would allow a person to torture the instrument? His posture straight, arm across his chest took him by surprise but less so than the realization that it was he, drawing the bow across the strings. He did it perfectly and yet the noise, The sound of sin.
