HOLY COW YANKEES BLOG: August 2007
http://ohholycow.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
HOLY COW YANKEES BLOG. Friday, August 31, 2007. What to Expect From Ian Kennedy. Here is an idea of what Kennedy throws. Kennedy sits comfortably at 90-92 and according to a report at Trenton, he hit 95 on the gun once. His fastball doesn't have amazing velocity or movement but he is an artist at locating it ala Mike Mussina. Kennedy's change is a plus pitch and like his fastball he can throw it in any count. He uses it effectively and mixes it well with his fastball. Its his best weapon. The same guy wh...

HOLY COW YANKEES BLOG: Aaron Hill?
http://ohholycow.blogspot.com/2008/03/aaron-hill.html
HOLY COW YANKEES BLOG. Friday, March 28, 2008. In a recent Peter Gammons blog entry, he mentions a list of "One Dozen Breakout Seasons", and at the #2 spot, he includes this one:. 2 Aaron Hill, Blue Jays. Best all-around second baseman in the AL? Now while Peter does include a question mark at the end of this statement, even that is ridiculous. Aaron Hill in no way, shape or form compares to Robinson Cano. Hill's career line: .287/.341/.415 97 OPS. Cano's career line: .314/.346/.489 117 OPS.

Marshall lost his final start for the Rangers in the Region III-5A semifinals when he hit a batter to force in the winning run with his pitch count at 146. Marshall had originally committed to San Jacinto Junior College ( Andy Pettitte. Armed with two breaking balls, Marshall’s slider is a legit put-away pitch. Coming in hard in the mid-to-high 80’s, the pitch can be confused for a splitter...A converted s...

http://nyyprospects.blogspot.com/2009/01/dellin-betances-by-mike.html
此blog以洋基小聯盟的各項消息為主,整理國外網站的文章,有空的話,再翻譯整理,加註個人看法。 Dellin Betances (by Mike A.). From River Ave. Blues. Working the front end of a tandem start system with Zach McAllister. Betances had a dominant debut, allowing just 14 hits and 7 walks against 27 K in 23 IP. He fell short of qualifying for the league ERA title, but his 1.17 mark would have placed him second in the circuit. Betances started 2007 in Extended Spring Training. Typical of high school pitchers, Betances still has to work on his fielding and abi...

He went 3 for 4 with an RBI and a stolen base in his first game as a pro, following it up with a 2 for 4 effort the next day. He finished up with a .261-.292-.261 line in 23 at-bats. Save Phil Hughes: Mea culpa
http://keephughes.blogspot.com/2008/05/mea-culpa.html
Friday, May 30, 2008. So my guest post on River Ave. Blues yesterday. Was pretty well-received by the masses, and even elicited comments from two of the Yankees' top beat reporters, Mark Feinsand. Of the Daily News and Tyler Kepner. As Mark wrote yesterday. And Tyler also made a great point. Well said on both parts. Given that both gentlemen apparently read River Ave. Blues among numerous other Yankee blogs, needless to say my foot is lodged so far down my throat that I can kick my own ass. How blogs hav...
