Die zahlreich vertretene Freiburger Surfgemeinschaft konnte in Seignosse bei den adh-open zwei Vizemeister feiern: Sowohl Carlo Strebel als auch Jan Jansen erreichten nach einem starken Wettkampf Platz 2 in ihren jeweiligen Disziplinen. Wir sehn uns am Atlantik - Team Freiburg bei den ADH Open in Seignosse. Freiburg Surft auf der Dreisam. Nur selten im Jahr läuft das kleine Freiburger Wellenmeer. "Hochwasser" heißt das Stichwort, das Freiburger Surferherzen höher schlägen lässt. Doch damit dieses auch wirklich hoch genug ist, muss es schon aus allen Wolken schütten. Und wenn dann noch eine ordentliche Schneeschmelze aus den umliegenden Bergen hinzukommt läuft sie tatsächlich und ist surfbar: Die Freiburger Dreisam Welle.

Sonntag, 14. Juni 2015. Nachschlag Costa Rica III. Zum Glück hatte ich noch die uralte Einwegkamera. So konnten wir wenigstens ein paar Bilder machen. Davon ist auch ein kleiner Teil was geworden. Mittwoch, 22. Oktober 2014. Nach 4 Jahren mit der "wilden 13" und etwa 160.000 Reisekilometern steht mir jetzt der Sinn danach, mal wieder ein anderes Brett zu surfen. Also muss das neue ein-Brett-für-fast-alles her, damit die Reisetasche nicht so schwer wird. Trifft sich gut, dass ich mit dem Bus der Uni nach dem Surfcamp nach Freiburg zurück musste. Also schnell zur Werkstatt und mit den Jungs von yellowfoot den neuen Prototyp für Dauerreisen entwerfen. Hier erstmal am Computer:. Schwupp in die Fräse.

Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Stood model for Bisse, a swedish fotographer and his art-project on surfers. Bisse came to the hostal and convinced everyone that was around to come with. In the end, all surfers have to stand in the same position in front of the same wall. I don't know yet what's going to happen with the pictures. There's nothing published yet from his side. I'm going to hand those informations in later. And because the pictures seemed a bit sterile to us we convinced him to do a group-shot.
