Two smiths and a dog. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Elisha is already 9 weeks old. i can’t believe how fast the time has gone by. today, he had his 2-month check up. he already weighs a whopping 14 pounds, 5 ounces (that’s 95th percentile material there) and is 23.5 inches long. no wonder he’s already out-growing his size 1 thirsties pockets and covers! Sometimes, i can’t believe i could really love the boy more and more each day, but it’s so true. i do. Comments Off on 9 weeks. From → Baby. 1 Sew a quilt.

Adventures of Sister-man: July 2009
http://adventuresofsisterman.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. I am a HERO. I just found out that I am someone's hero and it made me smile! This Wednesday is the GOGOL BORDELLO concert that I have been awaiting for months. I am still disappointed I never got to see them when they were touring with MANMAN, but I am excited to see them in two days. I am kind of nervous about the show because I have a feeling there will be a lot of crazy people there. Then we had a Luau at work:. I planted a lot of plants this summer in my new yard:. I am a HERO.

Adventures of Sister-man: Why do things not exist?
http://adventuresofsisterman.blogspot.com/2010/01/why-do-things-not-exist.html
Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Why do things not exist? I am always having great ideas for at home projects and then finding out my ideas don't exist yet. That sounds strange. What I mean is, no one else seems to have made them yet. Why not? For example, a small watermill built into a fountain pump and the watermill produces just enough electricity to power the pump that powers it. Just a little decorative thing that serves only to power itself. Well, I guess I'll have to get to making if I want one.

Adventures of Sister-man: December 2009
http://adventuresofsisterman.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Why should I put off until Thursday at midnight what I can begin right now? I've never really understood the reason for New Year's Resolutions. If you have something you want to change about your life, yourself, etc., why wait? What is the significance of a new year? Time is purely relative. If this "New Year" is such a turning point for everyone, why not have a Jewish New Year Resolution? Oh, no big deal, just start over on the Chinese New Year! My point is, why wait? I think...

Two smiths and a dog. Sunday, June 13, 2010. Elisha is three months old today. he babbles and coos. he smiles. he drools. he rolls over (sometimes). he grabs things (mostly my hair, but sometimes stuffed animals). he loves to eat. he’s already set his own bedtime, though because everyone insists on asking, i’ll say it now no, he’s not sleeping through the night. it’s okay. really. The chunk of my heart he’s got in his hand gets bigger every day, too. From → Baby. Larr; on babywearing. Wow, time flys!

Two smiths and a dog. Tiny, tiny mantis. Sunday, May 30, 2010. This little guy was on our car as we were leaving church this morning. sooooooo tiny! I’m glad we didn’t mistake him for some yucky other kind of bug and squish him. he even was grateful enough to pose for a few adorable action shots. From → Geekness. Larr; maymont park. On babywearing →. Friday, June 11, 2010 9:13 am. It is so tiny, and so cute! I am glad you spotted him! The mountain and the mole. Books for the Soul. Design, Arts, and Crafts.
