Size 3 knitting needles. 100% cotton 4 ply yarn in cream and pink. 1 Cast on 28 stitches with cream yarn. 2 Knit stock knit stitch (knit one row, purl one row) till piece measures 1 inch ending on a purl. 3 *K2Tog, K 4 from * repeat across. 5 *K2Tog, K 3 from * repeat across. 7 *K2Tog, K 2 from * repeat across. Break off yarn leaving a 7 inch length. Cast on 3 stitches, leave a long tail to attach the ears. Knit - R - Done.

This would be a great gift for a baby shower. He knits up quick. Octopus Bath Mitt Pattern. Size 8 knitting needles. 4 PLY Worsted Weight 100% cotton in cream and blue. With cream yarn cast on 44 stitches. Knit 36 rows of stockinette stitch. K2Tog, K4) repeat to end. Bind off with Purl stitch. Leave a long tail to sew up body. Bind off with Knit stitch.

Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Another Black Apple Doll. I made Bug a Black Apple doll. I modified the pattern a bit to make a boy doll for young Bug. Ever since I made the boy version I've wanted to make a a little girl version. I finally decided that it was time to make Ladybug a doll of her own. What fun! I used fleece for the hair again as I wanted to be sure that the doll would be washable. While Ladybug loves faces she also enjoys chewing on toys so washable is key! March 15, 2012 at 3:17 PM.
