5000 miles from Worcester - Creative outlet for my travel musings and showcasing my up-cycling projects
5000 miles from Worcester. October 23, 2014. Those that know me, know that for the last 2 years I’ve had a scrappy list stuck to the side of my fridge. That was the before-30 list I created aged 28 facing up to 2 years to go before the world ended (I knew it wouldn’t, but it was my first major birthday ending with a 0! So now I’ve had 6 months to acclimatize to being in my thirties so without wasting any more time wanted to crack on with writing and completing the before-40 list. Go in a helicopter.

Almost 5,000 Miles to Surrogacy. Friday, February 21, 2014. I began pushing about 9:35. After pushing through a couple contractions the Dr told me that baby's heartrate kept decelerating from around 115 bpm to about 50 bpm with each contraction and recommended I breathe through the next contraction to give baby a rest. By the next contraction there was no telling me to rest, I HAD to push! I was in so much pain that I have mostly blocked that out of my memory already. Who wants to remember that pain?
