Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Kitchen Renovation : Day 1 : It Looks Better Already. The cabinets, the fur down, the countertops, the appliances - they're all gone! Quite a bit of progress was made on day 1! In the last picture you will see how they made a new hole in one of the kitchen walls- this used to be a broom closet, but we don't really need it, now that the laundry room has plenty of storage. So, by removing it, we gain about 12in of additional space in the kitchen! Click to see the BEFORE pics.
