Grand Canyon South Rim – Tucson. Wir fuhren auf der Interstate 17 und 10 bis nach Tucson wo wir im Best Western Sun and Inn an bester Lage logierten. Doch kaum einquartiert, tropfte es im Zimmer meiner Eltern von der Decke. Hier weiss man, was Kundenservice ist: sie wurden ohne zusätzliche Kosten in ein 2-Zimmer Zimmer mit Jacuzzi upgegradet. Blog – Blog – Blog. Lange ist es her, seit dem letzten Blog-Eintrag. Unterdessen besuchten wir Rahel and Phil in Crosby sowie auch Aslam, Corinne und Kenzo in London. Wir verbrachten super Ferien in England und brachten wie gewohnt Würste auf die Insel und nahmen Ginger Beer aufs Festland. Der heutige Tag brachte wieder wunderschöne Erlebnisse mit sich. In und um Page kann man sich gut verweilen. Unsere Unterkunft. Kann ich allen wärmstes empfehlen. Den späten Nachmittag verbrachten wir am Lake Powell, diesmal jedoch nicht in Arizona sondern in Utah. Der Lone Rock Beach ist wärmstens zu empfehlen und die Kids hatten Spass am Schwimmen mit der Schwimmweste und am Sandburg und Canyons bauen. Da hab ich sie mal einem „Sport-Check“ unterziehen lassen, um festzustellen, ob es ihr gesundheitlich so gut geht, dass wir noch Turniere laufen dürfen. Es war ein schönes, nachträgliches Weihnachtsgeschenk, denn es geht ihr so gut. Sie darf weiterhin Sport machen und auch das ein oder andere Turnier laufen, ohne das ich dabei Bedenken haben muss.
