Luca was a big fan of Juliette's PJ "suits" so I found a pair for Luca at Lollipop's store for 99 cents. Here they both are before bed in their "suits". I am glad size 4T fits over Luca's AFO's. Tales of a First and Second Born. A blog about everyday life of John, Katie, Luca and Juliette. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Juliette is ALL over the place these days. She can crawl all around the house and pulls herself to standing on just about anything! She especially likes to get into the fireplace (no fire in there but lots of dirt and pull open the DVD player) It is such a crazy experience for us. Luca wasn't ever doing this and we are celebrating her mobility but is is also crazy!

Introducing. Jacob Matthew Shilling. Our precious son, Jacob Matthew, arrived early wed morning 3/20 of this week! He is 3 days old now and as perfect as can be! He came into the world with a very dramatic entrance - God delivered him into my own hands in the front seat of our car as Eric raced 80 mph to get us to the birthing center we were planning to deliver him at! But it was a surreal, crazy adventure that God had His hands all throughout, keeping us all safe and protected! We are over the moon!

While in St. Augustine, MARIA came to visit for an overnight! It was sooooo fun! Sophia is SUCH our good little helper! She and Daddy put together a book shelf and she was his right hand man, putting screws in and hammering. Jacob - Two Months Old! How has a whole month passed since my last post? Jacob is already two months old (as of yesterday! He continues to delight us and fit perfectly into our family. In fact, I think how it was before he came along is becoming hazy already. :) Sophia has been such a great big sister.really embracing her role. Sophia has adopted the laundry basket as a multi-purpose space to play in. She sits in to read books, take rides through the house, and plays in it with her stuffed animals. Born in Seattle Continued. Sunday, July 26, 2015. We are having a great summer 2015! The highlights have included but not limited to Adams Family Reunion, AMC conference in Jacksonville, FL, Peter and Kara moving to Seattle, Popeye and Cozy visit during the month on July. Lots of trips to Alki beach, cooking, friends, meals, VBS for Luca, West Seattle Parade, Beth's wedding, and a day trip to Vashon Island. John went on an exciting canoe trip to Ross Lake with a friend from work. Here are a few pictures.
