Thursday, April 28, 2011. This last year Brad has been working out of town in Escalante, Utah. It does exist, you can look it up! It is about 40 miles east of Bryce Canyon. We have found a suprisingly enjoyable and beautiful spot to vacation! Despite my dread at the prospect of packing alone and unpacking alone, we have enjoyed both Fall Break and Spring Break in Escalante. We saw lizards, a blue caterpillar and a scorpion (Oh, yay! Friday, November 9, 2012. Halloween was definitely interesting this year.Cal ate it up! We thought it was going to be inside, in different classrooms on the kids wing, but we were wrong! We actually got there too early and went and killed time at Bass Pro until time to go back. Bass Pro has a little Peanuts setup for photos! So we took them to do that and then went back. We didn't make it long after we got back. We rode the train, got a hotdog and popcorn, and that's about it! Oh - we did see Santa!
