God Creates Cool Stuff! Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Okay, so I need a better title for my new blog series. Someone gimme somethin'. I was making pizza dough today and I put my nice little ball of dough in a bowl to let rest and rise. I love coming back to my once small, dense ball of dough to see it doubled in size and super fluffy. I started thinking,"how does God come up with this stuff? It's these little granules and it's a fungus and it magically. Makes the dough nice and fluffy. Crazy!

Friday, May 6, 2011. Jack is about to finish his first year of school. I'm so proud of us both for completing a year of homeschooling. It's neat to look back to the begining of the school year and see all that he's learned in 9 months. I'm glad though that this school year is coming to an end and we get a LONG summer break. Thursday, May 23, 2013. We have a two year old (plus two months.). How is that even possible? Wasn't it just yesterday I was holding this little baby boy in my arms who couldn't yet walk or talk? It's so strange how it can seem like he just entered our lives, but at the same time I can hardly remember life without him. He loves to dance still- to game show theme songs (Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune), commercials, or any other music he hears, and lately has been doing one that we call the "Weston Stomp".

We have found a suprisingly enjoyable and beautiful spot to vacation! Wednesday, July 18, 2012. So i scheduled it for the end of May. I picked a perfect weekend when Brad didn't have any organic chemistry tests, so i had him all to myself. I wasn't really nervous about the surgery until the night before. Brad gave me a blessing, and it just gave me the peace of mind that i needed that everything would be okay.
