A new adventure awaits. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Well, at least I'm not bored? My work week started off with a bang: someone (a student, I'm betting) stuck gum to the output feeder on the copier in the library. I can honestly say I never expected to solve THAT technical difficulty in my life. Not to worry, I've pried off the gum and scrubbed my hands thoroughly. All in all a good day. I can only imagine what the rest of the week will include. Thursday, November 25, 2010. Why I love my food co-op.

A new adventure awaits. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Is it a good sign that I was planning out my breakfast while still half asleep in bed this morning? There is such satisfaction in really being in tune with your body and honoring what it wants. Yes, often my body wants chocolate or a second piece of cake. I do not always give in. But I am always surprised that when I really listen, my body often craves greens or veggies or fruit. My body really does know best and I try hard to honor it. Thursday, May 6, 2010.

I put up my Panther Paw when I noticed another teacher raising hers (this is the "quiet" signal). I looked around at the kids in the room and felt their energy and enthusiasm. I was grateful for two things on Thursday: warm, gingery, spicy sweet potato soup (my bowl seemed to refill every time I looked down) and outside recess. So today I am grateful that while there is snow on the ground, it is above freezing and the sun is shining. Thank you, Jesus. Me: "What's your name? I can't remember.". A new adventure awaits. Saturday, September 11, 2010. For lunch today, we dined on a trio of bruschetta: traditional tomato (with farmer's market tomatoes and homegrown basil), avocado (made with James' jalepeno "pesto".we're not sure what to call it, but it is spicy, smoky, and delicious), and eggplant (roasted eggplant with feta) all on farmer's market baguette. Dessert was a cream cheese/chocolate swirl brownie made by a coworker's sister we brought home from their fun dinner party last night.

Kände mig rätt seg i benen och tiden blev 26.19! Därmed blev denna träningsvecka tillända och har hunnit löpa 31 km.
