This was a great way to split up the duties of cooking and cleaning as well as giving a variety of foods. Matt and I did a Mexican. Night, Lori did BBQ, Kelli and Jeff did steaks, Karen and Dad did Italian, and Casey and Ben did seafood. Seafood night was the winner! Awesome job Casey and Ben! Posted by The Gilligans. Monday, September 21, 2009. Last week when I arrived at work we had to wade through water to get to our offices. During this time of the year we have what you call lunar or moon tides. The tides are higher than normal and especially when there is a storm in the Atlantic. Here are some pictures of the next day, although the tide didn't get as high as the day before. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Today we were going to have a sled riding party. Only the snow was too soft. First we decided to build a fire, of course Alex and Taylor decided to roast marshmellows. They were tasty! Of course being new to the snow, I had to try to make a snow angel. I just love you! Your so like.fresh. Monday, April 19, 2010. Last week my cousin Terry and her son Kaleb came to visit, again lots of four wheeling. Although we had an episode, I turned dad's four wheeler on its side, we were not hurt just a nice bruise on my behind. Lots of fun. Great picture of you all at the river! God has given us these times of joy - Psalms 81:4. Sunday, June 13, 2010. On June 4 th. At 1 am.yes, I said it 1am! We heading for the Outer Banks of North Carolina! Dad put together a week at the beach as our family vacation this year. For the past few years, everyone has had the chance to travel together during the summer except for Matt and I due to career changes, moves, school, etc.This year we were able to join and what a treat! This is the front of the house where we stayed. This is the back.

Sunday, December 27, 2009. I showed Goldie for two years and that was a wonderful time! She is a great horse and has taught me everything I know. She is almost 24 and still going strong.
