9679; Writing Journal. 9679; Brew Journal. 9679; Garden Journal. Monday, August 13, 2012. Bottled up the cider Sunday, half sweetened/half dry, which leaves me with only one empty case of bottles, but another problem - four empty carboys. I am not sure I'm going to pull off another 20 gallon brew day again, but I could very well pull off 15. We will see how it goes. In the meantime, what are you brewing? Posted by Cameron Mathews. 9679; Writing Journal. 9679; Brew Journal. 9679; Garden Journal. Thursday, March 27, 2014. By Agriculture And Stock Department,. Publicity Branch [Public domain],. I've got something planned. Actually two things. But I will do them simultaneously. And, weather permitting, I'll try them tomorrow. The other experiment that I am going to do is to split the batch and use two yeast strains. So basically, I will end up with two different beers, but with some very similar characteristics. What am I making?

Poems: Color of the Day

9679; Writing Journal. 9679; Brew Journal. 9679; Garden Journal. Monday, April 6, 2015. Color of the Day. Grey day, hazy day,. Fog lifted yards above the ground. The light filtered, slightly green. Brightens new spring growth. Muting all the reds. The morning drags with hint of rain. Through to the afternoon. When finally the burning sun. Illuminates the ground below. Finally the solar exit. Lunar time has come. With reflected day light. Comes silver brightness on a window. All else in blue-black shadow.

9679; Writing Journal. 9679; Brew Journal. 9679; Garden Journal. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Always yes or no with this one. No, I didn't mean "yes" or "no" -. I meant "yes or no" as in. Never a firm commitment. All I really wanted to do was. Go grab some lunch, and I asked. To check availability, and it's "maybe.". What's the time limit on a "maybe" anyway? An hour, a week, five minutes before definitive? All I know is I'm off to grab a sandwich. Posted by Cameron Mathews. Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
