Local birding in halifax and just a bit of randomness thrown in for good measure. Thursday, 1 November 2012. Recent un-employment and no car means i am now having to stay very local! So decide to concentrate on southowram, using the parish boundry which is Red Beck in the east, River Calder to the south,the Hebble in the west and the A58 to the north, for ease i have ammended it slightly. Common gull 64 in fields around coal pit lane. Pink footed goose 200apx flew se from wainhouse tower. Meet the real me.

Got to bed at 04:30 after doing the midnight walk for Overgate Hospice. 13 miles and we did it in 3 1/2 hours! Which is not bad. so a quick hotdog and home to bed.up at 9 and on the road at 10. Includes the belated acceptance of of White-throated Sparrow from Hull, February 1893, shot in the grounds of Holderness House. Holderness House. Is now a retirement home for Laydeees, which is about as 'Little Britain' as you can get.

About including one with no tail. a female sparrowhawk over the allotments and a male flew low across rolls Royce. On at the top end of rolls Royce.
