Insights From Afar and From Within. Thursday, January 29, 2009. One of my favorite plaza's in Spain, the Plaza Mayor in Madrid. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. In the morning, we woke to still no electricity and it was time to take Mei to Oviedo to catch her plane to Madrid. Alberto showed up with his van, so Mei and I jumped in with him and headed North to the city. We grabbed a croissant and a cafe con leche and then took a brief tour of the cathedral erected in maybe the 14th century? Leading a yoga class.
