A couple of months I sent over an extra Compassion gift so they could get him an appropriate (age and culture) gift for his birthday. After battling Leukaemia, our son Jonah was then diagnosed with aHUS - an ultra rare blood disorder. The medication required costs around 300k per annum. Our Charity was set up in January 2016 to raise the much needed funds for the on-going medication required for Jonah for which the States of Guernsey no longer funded. Should Jonah no longer need the medication funded.

The group CASE (Community Alliance to Support and Empower) provides food for those in need in El Segundo. CASE works with several churches in the community to staff a food pantry for those in need.
