gyrovagueness: January 2008

http://gyrovagueness.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html

Back and forth across the glistening surfaces. Friday, January 25, 2008. Can I write about nature. When I don't live in a cottage. At the end of a dark. Lane swathed in woodsmoke. Evenings of infinite depth,. Or know the names of birds? The sea is saltwater, my blood. I've seen 'rivers' flow into 'bays',. Waves', and something that opens. The guts of its prey. Just for the half-digested. So I reckon I get to mention. As well as the roofs curved silvery. On a recently constructed. Links to this post.

Johnny Davies | Go With The Flow

Go With The Flow. Portraits in Ink and Tea. Carne Griffiths’ artwork using tea, vodka, whiskey. Thes Portraits in this series show human character often through the use of poise and plant symbolism, all are painted in ink and tea, apart from the vine which is painted in a combination of alcohol and tea. I really like the transformation done here, very clever design and quite humorous! I really like the steam punk theme and the mixed media incorporated into this theme, works really effectively.
