Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Horseshoe Bay at Lake LBJ! This past weekend Josh's parents took our family and Russ and Sarah to Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. We stayed at the Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort. Other than Disneyland, it might be my favorite vacation spot. It's sooo nice, and we really appreciated this trip! I'm the worst at remembering to take pictures, but I tried to get at least a few during the trip. We can't wait to go back! It was a super fun night though. :). With these two pictures combined.

Saturday, May 19, 2012. Going back.way back.like last year back. Ok, so my last post was October 2011 and since 2012 is almost halfway over, I thought I'd take some time and catch up. This way my big family can see some pictures of the boys, and see how much they've grown! First, let me just say that November of last year I started potty-training Deacon. I had so much anxiety over this! I called my sister, Tonia, who is like the Queen of potty-training boys (she has 4! I'll just get to the pictures.

Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Memorial Day 2012 at Port Aransas. For Memorial Day weekend Josh and I took the kids and met up with Russ and Sarah down at the beach here in Texas. Now, being a Carolina girl I come from a land where the beach is second to none. I had pretty low expectations for the Texas beach, but we ended up having so much fun! I'll always miss NC beaches, but a girl's gotta take what she can get! We went on a walk one morning when the kids woke up incredibly early, hence my just-woke-up face.

Lauren grew up on Silver Strand Beach in Southern California until she left for college to attend the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned an Environmental Studies degree and fell in love with Colorado. She spent a few years moving all around the US from, Key Largo to Connecticut then back to California where she met Josh. Lauren loves animals, dancing, scuba diving and traveling to new places!
