Clifton Chronicles: Going back a bit

http://lifewiththecliftons.blogspot.com/2012/01/going-back-bit.html

Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Going back a bit. I know I'm going back a bit but I just can't help myself. We have two little turkeys now or will soon when our little Haitian angels get home. Noah and Beth both have birthdays in November (22nd and 24th). This year Noah turned the big double digits, 10. We probably heard the words "thank you" over 500 times the whole rest of the day. He was so cute about it! I know it is a bit insane to buy a 10 yr old a laptop but he uses it everyday. Lovin the Lewis Life.

Why had I not thought of that before? It was a total DUH. Here are the before and after pics of the recent projects. Enjoy! Posted by The Clifton Family.

The Farrer's

Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Obviously, I have been slacking in this department, considering the last real post I made was 6 months! Time really is flying though. Well this last month has been a good one. Probably the best one so far of your little life. You are just so much fun these days. You just know us so well, and are turning into such a little man! I have no idea how you lifted yourself up onto them, but you did. And you were so proud of yourself! You also love going into the bathroom and kitchen&...

The Strahans

Our little man is 15 months old! Where does the time go? The biggest change that has taken place with this little guy is his talking! One day soon after he turned one he decided it was time to talk. Let me remind you he did NOT even say Mama or Dada at one, he had 0 words. In one day he said Mama, Dada, Sophi, more, puppy, and woof! This little man is ALL boy. He loves cars and trucks, being outside, getting dirty, and hitting and throwing things! A few other things we have learned about our sweet boy ov...

The Speirs Family

Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Horseshoe Bay at Lake LBJ! This past weekend Josh's parents took our family and Russ and Sarah to Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. We stayed at the Marriott Horseshoe Bay Resort. Other than Disneyland, it might be my favorite vacation spot. It's sooo nice, and we really appreciated this trip! I'm the worst at remembering to take pictures, but I tried to get at least a few during the trip. We can't wait to go back! It was a super fun night though. :). With these two pictures combined.

Our Journey: Josh & Layne

Our Journey: Josh and Layne. This is a journal of our relationship. It began in October of 2004 at Deer Valley Ranch. I don't know where it will be when you read it.but I can hope. Friday, July 22, 2005. So I haven't gotten any word back from your dad, yet. Makes me a little nervous. There are a few possible scenarios to explain why:. A) You're dad doesn't check his email. B) You're dad wants to avoid answering to preserve his denial about his little girl growing up. C) Shoaf hates me! No turning back now.

Josh, LA, Caleb and Ansley

Josh, LA, Caleb and Ansley. Thursday, January 17, 2013. We have been picking up our constructive play lately. Our focus is fine motor. We are trying to encourage upper body strength and it is working bc he can finally open the fridge door! Rumor has it that upper body weakness also leads to decreased fine motor. We "make" him open the fridge and get his "almond juice"(carrying the heavy container) every time but he doesn't mind that! I can see a difference already! Leigh Anne and Josh. That's a lot of ta...

We're going to give it a year or two and see how we like it. I'll post pictures when we move. I just wanted to give a little update. Friday, April 6, 2012. Cora loves holding and hugging her baby sister. I just have to remind her not to lean her weight on Esther when she hugs her. Playing on the floor together. Work those neck muscles!

The Waldron's Abroad

Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Our first long weekend trip was to PARIS! This small amount of items above was what I packed, and it was still too much. Next trip will be enough to fit in half my backpack and that's it. The flight was during sunset and was absolutely gorgeous. We actually didn't tell the girls where we were going. I was excited to go visit France, but Kadie and Laney were EVEN MORE EXCITED. This was out first morning in France! Crew and the Giant "pink bread". Here is to being in FRANCE! We only ...
