Monday, September 15, 2008. I thought it was fitting that they got to see "Noah's Ark". They had fun playing with all the "pretend" animals! BJ and Cady started preschool on September 3rd. BJ was a little reluctant at first, but quickly warmed up to his teacher. Cady, however, loved school from the moment that she found out she has BJ's teacher from last year. They have made it through their first two weeks and seem to enjoy it so far. BJ and Cady decided to play dress up one day! Those are kids for you!

Sunday, June 29, 2008. We have been in the water for five days straight for several hours and have another week to go! The joys of summer! Friday, June 20, 2008. We visited the park today at the Fair Grounds. The kids love riding their tricycles, playing on the helicopter, feeding the ducks, sliding, swinging, and just being silly! Monday, May 25, 2009. Where have I been this past month? I don't know why but these past couple of years, May has been one of the bussiest months for us. The first week of May was spent getting my students ready to take their Gateway Test (otherwise known as the EOC test). All of my students but one passed so I'm pleased. Thursday, February 26, 2009. Only two more weeks of school until our two week break. The county I teach in is on an extended calendar year meaning that we go to school for 9 weeks and have 2 weeks off for fall break, christmas break and spring break and then we have about 6 weeks in the summer. I love this schedule! The first week we're going on the cruise so we're all getting really excited about that! I don't know what we would do if he came home with all that energy everyday! As a result, the Kindergarten goes to a full day of school, no adjustment period - just bam! She's gone all day.
