The Tale's the Thing. A quiet little corner to share work by outstanding Indie authors. What I cannot find out from them, I'll make up. Sunday, April 17, 2011. What is a good ebook price, and why would I be changing mine? We desire readers above all things. To try and attract them we give away a lot of books (print too) and we come out with a 99¢ price in all the retail locations that let us. We must have been daft to think they wouldn't. We must have been daft to think we would. Something similar to the...

The Tale's the Thing. A quiet little corner to share work by outstanding Indie authors. What I cannot find out from them, I'll make up. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Why is this funhouse idle? My schedule has been a disaster since January. Ono Chronicle: October 2016
http://onochronicle.blogspot.com/2016_10_01_archive.html
Ono County where murder and ghosts are a way of life. Wednesday, October 5, 2016. My ears are still pounding with the roar of stock cars streaming around in circles. Dirt track racing at its brutal best when all the local favorites hit the track on a Saturday night. The clanking and banging of the presses when we put the paper to bed is a quiet peaceful interlude compared to when 33 cars battle it out on a dirt track for a case of oil. I let Jim Young talk me into accompanying him to a racing event.

Ono County where murder and ghosts are a way of life. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. December 12, 1968. The Wren Hotel was destroyed by fire on December 10, 1968. Sheriff Dan Sommers aided by local business men Phillip Andrews and Harry Bidwell risked their lives in the smoke-filled hallways to insure that all residents made their way to safety.
