Stitch 'n *****-Melbourne Knitalong

Stitch 'n *****-Melbourne Knitalong. Monday, December 20, 2004. Here is the felted FMB. Posted by Ben at 6:32 PM. I've just finished another French Market Bag to give as a gift. I used handspun wool, which was a natural mid-grey dyed with pink. Due to the variations in the yarn itself, I just used it straight, rather than adding different colours. I made the handles a bit longer than the pattern stipulated, which turned out much better I think. Posted by Ben at 6:31 PM. Thursday, October 21, 2004. I used...

Stitch 'n Bitch-Melbourne Knitalong. Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Materials for the French Market Bag. Posted by Ben at 6:29 PM. Monday, June 28, 2004. This is my day one effort - the base is knitted and a few inches up the side. I am really loving knitting with this wool and the 10mm Addi's. The knitting action is so smooth and easy, plus An was right - knitting with these circulars is much easier on my forearms than straight needles - hooray! Posted by Ben at 7:46 PM. Close to my Heart

http://closetomyheart.blogspot.com/2003_08_10_archive.html

Close to my Heart. Friday, August 15, 2003. I made a stop at the hairdressers today after work. Those gray roots (skunk line as a friend so kindly called it) were looking pretty awful. I used to colour it myself, but would usually end up colouring part of the bathroom as well. Fortunately, I've now found a hairdresser who not only is reasonably priced but is also quick and does a good job to boot! I like how you can't see my face in this picture, ha! If you really want to see me, you can click here.

Knit All The Things Designs

0 items - $0.00. Knit All the Things. Celtic Forest Sock Pattern. Beautiful panels of celtic braids bordered by elegantly defined twists give these socks a Highland feel. Cables are worked entirely using twist stitches, so no cable needle is necessary! Free Pattern: Lavender Breeze Socks. The central lace pattern falls in a wavy flow down the sock, reminding me of lavender waving in the breeze. Purl rows between eyelet lace columns at the sides of this sock give it nice stretch for a comfortable fit.
