My Declaration of War | Ramblings of a Perforated Mind
https://ramblingsofaperforatedmind.com/teaching-and-parenting/my-declaration-of-war
Ramblings of a Perforated Mind. Teaching, Technology and Tough Love. My Declaration of War. Tech Tools for Newbies. My Declaration of War. I have officially declared war in my classroom. I have had it with the little snide, insulting, hurtful comments my students make to each other on a daily basis. Enough already! From here on out, an insult means detention. My students have become so used to insulting each other that they hardly realize they are doing it! Maybe fear would keep your child silent. Do...

Life on Easy Street. The Evolving Entelechy of ElementalPeace MicroHomestead. Changes in our household! April 24, 2013. So things have changed – and I do owe tons of apologies for not keeping this beautiful blog updated – it is my intent to do better. Part of the thing is that we lead such VERY active lives. This blog I’m thinking will be my relax space, and my space to sink into home. Okay so what changed? That’s all the changes so far – but I’m sure there’s more to come, for now...October 4, 2012.
Life….one big adventure | Explore. Dream. Discover.
Life….one big adventure. Explore. Dream. Discover. Camino Frances – 2013. Camino Via de la Plata – 2014. Camino Portuguese – 2016. I am a mad-keen traveler. Nothing unusual about that of course I suspect we are a common breed. However over the last few years I have discovered, perhaps re-discovered, a passion for adventures as opposed to holidays. I love that Mark Twain quote:. It truly captures the way I want to live my life. Heading west to Santiago de Compostela – 2014. 10 thoughts on “ About. So glad...

One Book at a Time
One Book at a Time. Sunday, April 8, 2012. I have 2 beautiful little girls. I have a wonderful husband. And I want to enjoy every blessed day that God grants me on this Earth. What if I don't get to live til 60? Was it a life wasted? Does that mean that I have to spend each day wondering how the other half lives? I'm ready to know. And thats when I started reading. I rarely read fantasy.in fact? Something that makes me say "Thats totally me! Five People You Meet in Heaven - Mitch Albom.

Life One Day - Blog
Hopes, Dreams, Wishes and Goals in Life. The Food Stamp Life. Everyday I face life at the mercy of others. I don't like it but at this point I have no choice until I finish nursing school. Honestly I am annoyed when I read posts that family and friends share about Food Stamps. Most have no clue and yet want to judge. I have my own goal, to get off of Food Stamps. Problem is, that expired almost four years ago. My best friend every so often will take me clothes shopping. Why? The whole phone thing preturb...

Sunday, December 4, 2011. Everywhere but cleaning my house. The dishes will still be there tomorrow. Here's what I've been doing in the meantime:. Spending time with my sweet, growing-up nephews. They like to wear Aunt Tabby's boots and hat. Putting up my Christmas tree. With a very attractive assistant. Helping friends put up their Christmas trees. Finally revealing my mustache tattoo to my students, and them loving it as much as me. (as noted by this photo). Training these wild dogs. Love, love, love.

Five Minute Friday: Enough. Posted by Brenda Lynn. Asymp; 8 Comments. I’ve had enough. Enough of this life without Him. Life? This is mere existence. I’m am so empty, yet so heavy. How can that be? This void has taken on a life of it’s own, consuming me. I can not fill it. Even my breaths can’t reach it. The men come and go, yet I find no solace. I feel emptier than before. I can’t drink. How can I do that to a God who’s saved me? What have I done for you? Tell them.”. But there He is,. I will be with you.
