Life on Edna

A family of five, experiencing life through the eyes of an eight-year old, six-year old and three-year old. A mom and a dad trying to keep up. Wednesday, November 17, 2010. This is why they make stickers on ladders saying "not a step", or "do not step on top rung.". This is why when your husband says he needs the bigger, taller, more powerful whatever, you listen. This is why I am very thankful to have a husband who is alive and unharmed. Thursday, October 21, 2010. No longer a baby. I love to dance.

A family of five, experiencing life through the eyes of an eight-year old, six-year old and three-year old. A mom and a dad trying to keep up. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. This is a poem she wrote that I found on a shopping list. I love it. I love to dance. And here and there. I love to splash. And around the puddles. I love to hear thunderstorms. And in the distance. Life on Edna: Great Wolf Lodge

http://www.lifeonedna.blogspot.com/2010/03/great-wolf-lodge.html

A family of five, experiencing life through the eyes of an eight-year old, six-year old and three-year old. A mom and a dad trying to keep up. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. In February, we took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge to spend a couple days swimming, relaxing and having fun. It was awesome. The kids loved it, and I loved it too. I also realized it was the first time we have done a vacation with just us and our kids - no other family or friends. Clara was my water slide buddy. March 28, 2010 at 12:47 PM.

A family of five, experiencing life through the eyes of an eight-year old, six-year old and three-year old. A mom and a dad trying to keep up. Saturday, June 13, 2009. Just a few quotes from the day. I love chocolate fountains! Spoken by Clara as she cleaned off her face, her arms, her dress. The lighthouse is as tall as the sun! Exclaimed by Ian as he ran up to the lighthouse. This is how you climb a dune, mommy" as John was showing me how to scramble up a dune - on all fours. Monday, June 1, 2009.

http://lifeathomeforus.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Birthday's come fast around here. Buddy turned 8 this week and that means NO CARSEAT! He is very excited about that. He is growing fast and every time I turn around he surprises me with something. (sometimes good, sometimes bad) He wanted a sleepover, so we ended up having 3 kids from another family spend the night, then everyone got a friend for the night. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Daddy mixing up eggs for breakfast.

New Life at Home: Shopping

http://lifeathomeforus.blogspot.com/2015/05/shopping.html

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Saturday, May 2, 2015. I seem to spend a lot of time shopping for things and after moving into a house, I am dreaming of a Super Walmart where I can get everything I need at one store and a store where most things are in stock. You can buy anything here, but it may not be in stock right now, or you may have to go to 10 different stores to find what you need. It is best if that mall coffee shop has toys. May 3, 2015 at 7:02 AM. The one we love.

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Thursday, April 30, 2015. I am slowly starting to feel normal here, and then things change. I was getting used to our hotel and then we moved into a house and are now we are living in a big house with all our camping gear and our bikes. We went to a Bahrain Cultural Exhibit that was assembled at the Arad Fort. It was held at night and had all sorts of local foods, displays on how they make things, and local music. It was outside of t...This ...

New Life at Home: Bahrain Fort at Dusk

http://lifeathomeforus.blogspot.com/2015/05/bahrain-fort-at-dusk.html

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Monday, May 18, 2015. Bahrain Fort at Dusk. Daddy wanted to go check out the Bahrain Fort with us, so we decided to go in the late afternoon, and I discovered that there is a museum adjacent to the Fort that I didn't even know about. It was nice to go enjoy the museum, have a snack in the snack bar, and then explore the fort and the beach. This was a cool bee sculpture outside the museum. The little green area and beach next to the museum.

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Friday, May 1, 2015. The girls have started Girl Scouts here and attended a craft day for the troop. They painted bird houses, and built American Girl Doll Tents. This is supposed to be my name in Arabic. I have no idea if it is correct or not. It looks cool though. I am excited for the girls to have lots of great experiences at Girl Scouts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 4 yrs old and full of Joy. The one we love. Bahrain Fort at Dusk.

New Life at Home: Jasra Handcraft Center

http://lifeathomeforus.blogspot.com/2015/05/jasra-handcraft-center.html

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Scout and I explored the Jasra Handcraft Center this week also. It is a place to check out the local artist scene with a emphasis on the old arts, and handcrafted items. Some of it was cheesy, like this pencil topper. Some of it was beautiful like this gypsum carving/molding, and the model ship building, (of which I did not get a picture). Of course, I see quilt patterns. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

New Life at Home. Blogging about everyday life with our family. Monday, June 24, 2013. Daddy took the 3 big kids backpacking on the Appalachian trail for 2 nights. It was Munchkins first trip and she did fantastic. The kids came home smelly and filthy but they had a great time. I don't know the details or stories behind most of the pictures, and the possibility of Daddy writing more is slim, so you just get a long string of pictures. Love the cool stance in this picture. I love her crazy hair. I have see...

Life One Day - Blog

Hopes, Dreams, Wishes and Goals in Life. The Food Stamp Life. Everyday I face life at the mercy of others. I don't like it but at this point I have no choice until I finish nursing school. Honestly I am annoyed when I read posts that family and friends share about Food Stamps. Most have no clue and yet want to judge. I have my own goal, to get off of Food Stamps. Problem is, that expired almost four years ago. My best friend every so often will take me clothes shopping. Why? The whole phone thing preturb...

Sunday, December 4, 2011. Everywhere but cleaning my house. The dishes will still be there tomorrow. Here's what I've been doing in the meantime:. Spending time with my sweet, growing-up nephews. They like to wear Aunt Tabby's boots and hat. Putting up my Christmas tree. With a very attractive assistant. Helping friends put up their Christmas trees. Finally revealing my mustache tattoo to my students, and them loving it as much as me. (as noted by this photo). Training these wild dogs. Love, love, love.

Life, 180°

Five Minute Friday: Enough. Posted by Brenda Lynn. Asymp; 8 Comments. I’ve had enough. Enough of this life without Him. Life? This is mere existence. I’m am so empty, yet so heavy. How can that be? This void has taken on a life of it’s own, consuming me. I can not fill it. Even my breaths can’t reach it. The men come and go, yet I find no solace. I feel emptier than before. I can’t drink. How can I do that to a God who’s saved me? What have I done for you? Tell them.”. But there He is,. I will be with you.

Life in 100 Words. A Look into Life, Love, Experience and Growth, 100 Words at a Time. As Seen On…. August 16, 2015. I have eyes, I’m not blind. I see you sitting there, staring at me. You want to come over. As you’re probably undressing me with your eyes. You’re an decent guy, maybe. You’ll send me flowers for no reason. Your lovemaking is just as strong as this stare you’re giving me. I’m the one to make you throw in your jersey, maybe you could have been something to me. August 14, 2015. What was it a...
