My life, as I remember it. My role and responsibilities as Tribal Chief is to be an advisor and support to the Council of Treaty 8 Chiefs. I act as their spokesperson and interact on their behalf with senior government and industry officials. I speak at conferences on their behalf and convey their perspective on many topics. I am also involved in many committees and currently serve as Chair of the Board for the Northeast Aboriginal Business Centre. More to come.).

My life, as I remember it. I am a Dene woman who was born in Fort Nelson, BC. My parents are Lena (Gairdner) and Bill Badine. I am the oldest of 11 children: my sisters are Eliza, June (deceased), Gloria, Charlene and Zena (deceased); and my brothers are Dale, Bruce (deceased), Glen, Dean and Michael (deceased). I have three daughters and seven grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Grade 1 and 2 down at the Old Fort. Grade 3 and 4 at West End School. Grade 6 at Muskwa Heights.

Three weeks ago, militants entered Magdeme. They looted compounds and, when they reached Goni’s home, they demanded his money and his family. Liz's Logs provides top quality, air dried, hardwood and softwood logs. The wood is partly sourced from our family farm. We supply to the PL20 and Tavistock area. We deliver our loads in a large single cab pickup truck. This load is approximately 2 cubic meters of loose logs logs Tavistock Yelverton dry seasoned firewood. We charge 105 for a 1m3 load and 200 for a 2m3 load delivered as shown in the picture. This year we have some quality softwood which is 25 per m3 cheaper. Devon and Cornwall.
