上海世博行 World Expo, Shanghai. Queued for more than 3 hours before gaining entrance to this pavilion. It's a display of technology advancement - with robotics and high-end digital devices - impressive. The theme was about the effort to save the red cranes in Japan. The Japanses never failed to impress the visitors. (Unfortunately, we were unable to take any pictures here). This was one of the impressive pavilions at Zone E, by its technology - the multimedia display on the enlarged LCD screen was impressive :) The decoration along the pathway to the theatre was so well blended to create the Japanses feel and look. The wait to enter the pavilion was worthwhile :). Below) By placing the card underneath the scanner, information about the city was displayed at the panel. Ah! 上海世博行 World Expo, Shanghai. This was the first exhibition area that I visited. There wasn't any crowd except 2 other visitors. Enjoyed the space and quietness to myself. Also the staff at the Egyptian area was very friendly and attempted to give an overview of some of the latest developements showcased here :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 上海世博行 World Expo, Shanghai. Theme: Urban Planet Pavilion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's one of the grandest event in the world - The World Expo. Which is held once every 2-3 years. The previous one was held in Spain; and the next one is going to be held in South Korea! Decided that it's a not-to-miss event. I guess the publicity helps :) Went to Shanghai in July for a working trip. Could feel the pride the Chinese had hosting this event that it aimed to make it a world history.

About the trail from NPark Website. 1 Marang Trail (15 min). 2 Faber Walk (15 min). 3 Henderson Waves (5 min). 4 Hilltop Walk (15 min). 5 Forest Walk ( 15 min). 6 Alexandra Arch (15 min). 7 Flora Walk and HortPark (5 min). 8 Canopy Walk (5 min). We took 3 hours to accomplish #1 to #6, which happened to be a convenient exit point. It's nice to be immersed in the dense forest once in a blue moon. In a larger map.

23 Sep - Day 1: Departing from Singapore. The flight departed at 10.35 pm. Prior hopping into the plane, checked the website for more info on entertainment and meals available. well, no luck with Asiana. The Korean meal which I did not know what it was till the meal was over. as I moved the recepticles around. There! A tiny piece of card that explained what it is and how it should be mixed (before eating). Well, well, well. next time must check everything on the set before makan! Asiana for future trips?
