How many pictures can one person take of a baby on the floor? Alot, I guess! If there were a baby. Magazine, this shot would be the prime candidate for the July cover! Amos happily helps to choose a paint color at Home Depot! And zones out at Costco! Back at home, he takes to playing with the gum massager from Grammy Carole, again, on the floor! He looked at me, smil...

Commonplace: We Are Still Here
http://commonplacemiller.blogspot.com/2009/11/we-are-still-here.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2009. We Are Still Here. So, having a toddler and an infant apparently make it harder to blog consistently. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway. And then I remembered that a post doesn't have to be long or involved or eloquent or interesting, though that last one helps, I suppose. It doesn't have to be timely, either, which is why I'm posting some pics from mid October, from our annual trip to the Avila Valley Barn pumpkin patch with the Rookses. We've been getting. Three is the ...

Commonplace: Volcano Story
http://commonplacemiller.blogspot.com/2010/07/volcano-story.html
Thursday, July 22, 2010. Hattie Rose dictated a story for Sarah today- her first ever original creation she wanted written down. It's sign she's following in her father's footsteps. It's also a sign of . well . here it is:. A large volcano. Spread out and burned! And the people was dead. And the bones. And the blood. And it's arms, and it's head. And it blowed down.". Ed note: "This rocks! Refers to the actual rocks flying out of the volcano, as in "These are rocks! Pride against the gods. Sound Your Hor...

Commonplace: January 2009
http://commonplacemiller.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Change has come to WhiteHouse.gov'. Have you seen the new home of the White House. In addition to the sorts of bells and whistles the average citizen would expect to find (bios of past presidents, a place to sign up for e-mail updates), there's a blog. Our government blogs. Unfortunately, the editor in me says, our government also makes typos. Again, call me what you will, but that should either say "center on. 160;three priorities" or " circle. Maybe I've set my hopes too hi...

http://partainfamily.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
The Partain Family Adventures. The day to day happenings of Nathan, Sarah and Amos. Saturday, March 31, 2007. Amos tries yogurt and the sippy cup and other happenings. So far today, we've been to the shop where Nathan works (they're doing some remodeling), and on other errands. When we returned home, Amos tried cereal and yogurt, though I think it was too rich for him! I gave him the cup with water and he played with it, not getting much out since he had to actually suck! Amos did so well on our date!

The Partain Family Adventures. The day to day happenings of Nathan, Sarah and Amos. Monday, September 25, 2006. Amos and Nathan can get themselves into some pretty serious cuddles. So Amos does these moves with his arms that we affectionately call "the Mighty Mouse," where he hoists his fist into the air, sometimes both at a time! So he's been doing this in his sleep, as well. Here are some pics of Amos goofing off in his sleep! Amos Update #5- Home sweet home! Dear friends and family,. Hello, my name is...
