Chirping from Chippewa Circle: Terrible, Horrible... 7 Weeks Shots
http://ourlifeonchippewacircle.blogspot.com/2012/07/terrible-horrible-7-weeks-shots.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. Terrible, Horrible. 7 Weeks Shots. I had been dreading July 11th since Lorelei's 2 week check-up. That was the day that she was scheduled for her first round of vaccinations. The shots were pretty terrible. Bless her sweet heart, she cried after each one, and I had to hold her down. I teared up, too. It was not a day that I'll remember fondly. Stats from 7 Weeks Check-up -. Weight - 10 lb, 11 oz. Head Circumference - 37 cm. Don't you think that's too many vaccinations in one day?

Wednesday, January 2, 2013. It's a new year, and I love the idea of starting fresh and coming up with new goals to better myself. We had the most wonderful Christmas, and it was really precious to experience Christmas as parents. Lorelei is officially the most spoiled rotten little girl. ever! 1 What are you most thankful for? Lorelei and the gift of motherhood. It's even better than I could have imagined. 2 What were the highlights of 2012 for you? 3 What are you hoping for in 2013? Gilmore Girls: Fun F...

Chirping from Chippewa Circle: Unintentional
http://ourlifeonchippewacircle.blogspot.com/2012/08/unintentional.html
Monday, August 20, 2012. Well, I didn't intend to take such a long break from blogging. Life has been busy - that's my excuse. And I haven't downloaded any of the pictures from my camera onto my computer. Let's be honest, it's much more fun to read a post with pictures. I'll get that done this week, and there will be plenty of updates soon! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Thursday, January 26, 2012. Well, January is really dragging on, and I LOVE it! Last year, it seemed like every month just flew by, and the year was over before I knew it. I know that this is only the first month of 2012, but it has been so nice to look at the calendar to find that the month isn't over. I'm glad that the time seems to be slowing down! In other news, I finished Unbroken. By Laura Hillenbrand last night. It was a fantastic book! Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Anyway, I feel like this week I am...

Sunday, September 9, 2012. This post was written weeks ago, but I forgot to post it. Oops! Wow Three months old. I can hardly believe it. Lorelei is so much fun, and she is the happiest little thing! We are so in love with her. She has us wrapped around her little finger, for sure. Here's what she's been up to this past month. She's still a good eater! She doesn't miss a meal, and she's starting to really fill out. I just love it! She loves bath time now! She smiles and coos ALL THE TIME! I think that sh...

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Book Club - February. Last night, our book club met to discuss The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I read the book about a year ago, and I really enjoyed it! It was a fun evening, and we had a great discussion. Carol is hosting next month, and our book will be The Art of Racing in the Rain. I've been wanting to read it, so I'm very excited about her pick! Friday, February 24, 2012. Weekend with the Webres! Sunday morning, we stayed in and played one more game.

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. We've been very busy around here watching the Olympics and ignoring housework. Note to any friends that want to just 'drop in' during the next two weeks- please don't. My house is a wreck, but I can't seem to unglue myself from the TV. Luckily for us, Lorelei is content to hang out and watch them, too. Here are my personal faves: (in no particular order). Synchronized Diving (How do they do that! Monday, July 30, 2012. Terrible, Horrible. 7 Weeks Shots. I tried to feed her, but sh...

Chirping from Chippewa Circle: April 2012
http://ourlifeonchippewacircle.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 15, 2012. We spent Easter at Lake D'Arbonne with my dad's family, and we had the best time! Every year, we meet all of my dad's brothers' families at the lake. We rent cabins, eat way too much delicious food, stay up too late hanging out, etc. The guys have an annual golf game that can get pretty competitive (though this year it was more low-key). It is a weekend that the whole family looks forward to all year (I know that Alan and I do! Delicious Strawberry Cake made by my cousin's friend.
