RAGBRAI 2012 and Schedule. It’s drawing near! We’ve put in a boatload of miles on the bikes already this year to get ready for RAGBRAI 2012, and it’s nearly here! We’re all packed up and ready to roll! All we have to do is wait until Friday…. First Tri (Boulder Sunset Triathlon) Race Report. So it finally happened, Friday evening we drove up and met up with another couple we knew doing the race. Picked up our packets at the Marriott, went out and had a great dinner at Pasta Jay’s afterwords. The scenery at the Reservoir was awesome. Absolutely picturesque Colorado landscape! My shirts have been fitting more and more loosely, and same with my dress pants and jeans. I went from an XL shirt size to wearing a Large comfortably. I noticed now that some of my Large polos and shirts are getting a bit on the big side. Today I decided to slip on a company polo in a Medium just to see how it fit… Perfectly! Here are the recipes I learned from my mom and tweaked along the way. I am not listing all the ingredients separately. The key ingredients are Fresh coconut, Sooji (Bombai rava), Green Mung dal(Pesalu), ginger, green chilis and lime(or tamarind). 1) Kobbari Pacchadi: Prepare 1/2 cup chopped fresh coconut apprx 1 cm size. Optional: Serve Upma with Lime wedges.
