Just a normal guy pushing his limits.because he can=). View my complete profile. Friday, July 23, 2010. Last weekend I had the opportunity to run the longest distance I ever have at 19 miles. I feel pretty good about my pacing and how things went except for getting lost once. I ran the first 5 miles then rested and got water, then ran another 5 before stopping. I then ran to 14, walked, 16 walked and 18 and walked. I think the only thing I will say here is. Ice baths are COLD! Wow talk about a hard sleep...

I was blessed about a week ago to have an anonymous donor offer to match $ for $ any donations I got up till march 11th my second re commitment. With their donation and family and friends generosity I was able to meet the second re commitment amount. I am almost halfway there to my fundraising money. Well our 35 mile bike ride was interesting yesterday to say the least. Starting in Danville with moderate winds we took off, only to quickly find that the wind was really bad. The wind was bad in town then once we got out of town, we were facing 35 mph winds with gusts up to 50! Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
