Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG): Canyonville makes national news~
http://www.westernwhiskeytooltopgazette.com/2015/07/canyonville-makes-national-news.html
Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG). Dedicated to past, present, and future collectors of pre-prohibition western whiskeyana. Friday, July 31, 2015. Canyonville makes national news. The following view is what greeted me late yesterday afternoon from the north part of our acreage. It's not a cumulonimbus cloud or. Thunderstorm. It's a Pyrocumulonimbus. Simply, a firestorm. Ten square miles worth (6,000 acres). No worries. See you at Seven Feathers the first weekend in October for Canyonville 2015! The Summer 20...

Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG). Dedicated to past, present, and future collectors of pre-prohibition western whiskeyana. Sunday, August 9, 2015. New variant of WC Peacock pre-pro glass? Once in a blue moon, it happens. And last week, we had a blue moon. Got an email from a collector over in the islands that I've become acquainted with. He said;. New finds of western glasses are few and far between. Discoveries of a new variant of an HT glass are rare as hens teeth. Posted by Kentucky Gem. The most whittle...

Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG): January 2015
http://www.westernwhiskeytooltopgazette.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG). Dedicated to past, present, and future collectors of pre-prohibition western whiskeyana. Sunday, January 4, 2015. You read it right, it's not Dog Gone Good Whiskey, It's Dog-on Good Whiskey. That's a catchy little phrase. The logo that bore the slogan is just as catchy! As Paul Harvey used to say, many years ago, "Here's the rest of the story". Rusconi and Fisher first appeared as a partnership in the 1898. He next bottle (2nd from right) is slightly larger, has a smooth ba...

Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG). Dedicated to past, present, and future collectors of pre-prohibition western whiskeyana. Sunday, February 22, 2015. A word to the wise. A word to the wise. Not everyone's interpretation of the English language is the same. Take the word "FAIR" for instance. We get a pretty constant stream of emails from collectors and non-collectors in the WWG inbox every week. Most from non-collectors are the typical "I got such and such bottle - how much is it worth? He also told me that ...

Western Whiskey Gazette (WWG). Dedicated to past, present, and future collectors of pre-prohibition western whiskeyana. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Apologies for the lack of activity here as of late. A sudden and unexpected event on July 4th pulled us away for quite some time and put the skids on our anxiously anticipated setup at the the show. I recently received a couple of reports from fellow collectors regarding the show. here goes;. One collector had the following to say;. THERE WERE 105 TABLES, ONLY.

Western Bottle News: The Great Dr. Gun Wa and His Remedy
http://www.westernbitters.com/2015/06/the-great-dr-gun-wa-and-his-remedy.html
DEDICATED TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ANTIQUE BOTTLE COLLECTING HOBBY. Sunday, June 28, 2015. The Great Dr. Gun Wa and His Remedy. Recently I acquired a collection of mostly gold rush California bottles with the occasional odd ball piece from the rest of the US. Included with the collection was a large envelope of notes, ads, labels, and patents. I was surprised to find this ad for the Gun Wa, and even more surprised to see it was not a female remedy, but a cure for lost manhood! June 28, 2015 at 5:13 PM.

Oregon Trail Venture Fund
The Oregon Trail Venture Fund is an investment fund for high-net-worth individuals. When pioneering souls embarked on their journey to the Oregon Country along the treacherous Oregon Trail they didn't know quite what to expect along the way or what they'd see when they arrived. They traveled because in the stories of the wondrous beauty of Oregon they expected tremendous new opportunities. The Oregon Trail Venture Fund takes its name from that trail and the potential opportunities it represented.

My good friend Chris works for this really cool non-profit called KaBOOM! Each project is a massive undertaking which culminates in a 1-day fast-paced playground build, with hundreds of volunteers. Many hands make light work. 8220;...

Sunday, May 12, 2013. I should live deliberately. Life is short, and it is precious. We should live it the best we can. Living the best we can requires identifying what we want to optimize for and then optimizing for it. The best way to optimize is to approach the problem deliberately. Living deliberately involves living in a prioritized way. We should identify what is most important to us, and then invest our resources towards those priorities in amounts relative to their importance. Optimizing happines...

Oregon Trail 2.0
Sunday, September 6, 2009. The Last Day on the Road. I think Molly got pictures, so hopefully she'll post those soon. Once we all chilled out we made a plan to stop at the next national park. The park we pulled into was breath taking. We drove for several miles on a dirt road until we found a little parking lot. The dogs had to stay in the car, but we got out and made our way down the trail. This is where we saw the giant trees we had been searching for. That's Jared and Matt:. We arrived at our new home...
