My Brief Taste Of Heaven. I was praying one night, and had gone quite deeply into worship. I remember saying to the Lord,"I feel so close to you right now, almost as though I could reach out and touch you.". Very suddenly, I found myself being taken through some kind of tunnel, and I was so terrified I just screamed and screamed as some force propelled me through that tunnel at incredible speed. Oh no," I cried, "please don't send me back.". Only because you say so, Lord, will I go back willingly.".

Delivered From Overwhelming Fear. The day I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease and told I would have to have a heart-bypass operation, a fear came over me greater than any fear I had ever known. Stupidly, I watched a heart operation on tv, and it brought that fear to a new level I wouldn’t have believed possible. My body trembling, I reached the front of the aisle and took communion. My Names In The Book - I SAW it! When I was a young man and first saved, I was in the choir at the church on the hill in Oakland. We were having choir practice one night and were singing, "There's a New Name Written Down in Glory.". I can say that I saw my name written down in the "Lamb's Book of Life" in glory. Housing In Difficult Times. 8220;Even the sparrow has found a home”. One of the many testimonies in our lives is how the LORD provided in different housing-needs situations. 50 years ago my oldest brother was looking for a place to live in Amsterdam. The housing situation was as difficult as it is nowadays here in Jerusalem. Our mother prayed about this problem and received the above mentioned Scripture in her heart and believed that he would find a house soon. And so it happened! We moved in January 1962.
