All Desire For Cigarettes Vanished. This a simple story, but one that may encourage someone who smokes. Almost 17 years ago I wanted to quit smoking. I was trying things like "CigArrest." I did quit once for a month. But I was again having the hardest time to quit. Well that night the Lord delivered me from cigarettes. Suddenly, I didn't have cravings or strong desire to smoke. Pudgy’s real name was Steven. He was about 11. He was a pal of my kids and lived a street away. Pudgy was in a coma at this point, on a respirator, and non-responsive. He had severe head injuries. He Told Me To Pray Over Our Dog. So I went home. I went to the Lord and said, "Lord, you know what this is all about and how this dog is too young to have this." I put the dog out in the back yard and kept the other dog away from him. Literally GOT UP and started walking! The day I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease and told I would have to have a heart-bypass operation, a fear came over me greater than any fear I had ever known. Stupidly, I watched a heart operation on tv, and it brought that fear to a new level I wouldn’t have believed possible. My body trembling, I reached the front of the aisle and took communion.
