September 26, 2013. From the woods around Fort Clatsop. I think they may be wild Lily of the Valley in an intermediate stage of ripeness. Can anyone confirm (or point out what the actually are)? Yarn Treats from Edinburgh. September 25, 2013. My dad recently had a business trip to Scotland, and very kindly offered to accept a yarn-purchasing commission from me. He took time out of his schedule to stop by Kathy’s Knits. 10 balls of which I am now the excited owner. Coast Guard Lifeboat 44300. The CG-44300...

Welcome to our world. Saturday, July 26, 2014. In Which "Better Late Than Never" Becomes My Life Verse. I knew, I knew. That blogging regularly would be just as challenging for me as running/training regularly would be, and I was right. I WAS RIGHT! So, without further ado, a really old post! This morning (drumroll please). This morning I ran 5 miles! I ran it at a faster average pace than any of my previous "long" runs! I am over the moon about this. Seriously, it was just the bit of encouragement t...

This image was created primarily out of images I took on the way home to Barcelona from a day out in Cadaques. A combination of light-noise shots derived from long exposures of the road and traffic, and dark silhouettes of road-side trees. There’s also a shot of some trees from Beijing in the mix. I printed this image and hung it in our school community art exhibition. It’s sale has helped to generate raise funds to support our student service groups. How does it strike you? May 12, 2015. The PWP Has Moved. Hi everyone. The Puddlewonder Press has moved to puddlewonderpress.com. Please look for me here:. Seven Years Before Tuesday. The three boys ramble up the street like some kind of odd camel, the tall one leading the borrowed grocery cart packed high with empties, the smaller two pushing from the handlebar like hind quarters, laboring in steady unison. They hug the curb and nearly pitch when one of the wheels wedges in a storm drain, bringing the awkward camel to a stop. And fingers wit...
