http://angieboyer.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. We have survived another Cokeville High School volleyball tournament. Twelve teams play in the tourney, some going home each night and some camping out at the schools and park and motel. There is really a mob of people around for all day Friday and Saturday. These girls are well trained, serious, skilled athletes. It is really fun to watch. By 10 pm last night they were all gone again. The concession stand was cleaned and empty. The custodians were finishing up the last t...Yeste...

Sunday, January 31, 2010. The Value of a Smile. They might not need me;. I'll let my head be just in sight. A smile as small as mine might be. By the time the song ended, I felt a change in the room. There was unity and a cheerful peace. We were ready to begin, ready to share and ready to learn. While I know there is power in the music itself, today I saw the value of a simple smile. It was precisely my necessity. Sunday, January 24, 2010. All in all, it was an exhausting day I will long remember. If...

Angel Whispers: October 2009
http://angieboyer.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. I recently read a book "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman. Very thought-provoking book. I was familiar with his ideas from other sources, but found the book worth reading all the way through. Today I decided to summarize the main points of the book that I jotted down as I read it. Compliments, appreciation, encouragement, forgiveness, requests and not demands. To spouse, about spouse. Togetherness with focused attention". 1-at least one spouse wants to do it. Just like sp...

Sunday, April 4, 2010. And the sun in finally shining again. It doesn't get much better than this! Two thoughts for today:. When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation. And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration. And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art! Stuart K. Hine). God believes you are worth loving,. Even with your sins. Even with your shameful past. Even if you were the only sinner in the world. Jesus would have died for you alone!

Monkey Business with the Huffs. Parental Adventures in Hilarity. Sunday, August 14, 2011. I hope you have a broadband internet connection, because we have some major catching up to do. It's mostly going to be pictures and captions, but I bet you knew that already. I believe this is where we left off:. He is a pretty happy boy. And a sharp dresser. People seem to worry a lot about how Truman and Topher get along. I'm happy to report that they have been good friends from the start. We had a few panic attac...

http://scottandmeganhuff.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monkey Business with the Huffs. Parental Adventures in Hilarity. Saturday, February 26, 2011. These past two weeks have gone by so fast! Truman feels and looks so much older than when we brought him home from the hospital, and yesterday at his two week check up I discovered why. He's gained a pound and a half since we brought him home! For the past two weeks there's been plenty of this going on around our house (although not so much for Scott and I.):. He ponders deeply, even when sleeping. We're still n...

Monkey Business with the Huffs. Parental Adventures in Hilarity. Sunday, September 11, 2011. A three week turnaround is not too bad in my book. The pictures are not good quality this time, for some reason. Click on them for better resolution. You may be aware, but we were hit by a. Tropical storm two weeks ago. The storm itself wasn't actually a big deal. Our only major loss was a pumpkin plant. Which wasn't producing any pumpkins anyway, so good riddance. That's when things got silly. Tomorrow You'll Be...

Monkey Business with the Huffs. Parental Adventures in Hilarity. Monday, March 8, 2010. So, after a few recent run-ins with Chinese spammers and hearing some horror stories of public blogs - in addition to a recent uptick in my internet paranoia in general (so long cookies! Megan on facebook, or just tell us in real life (gasp! Thanks everyone. We'll try to keep posting often. To keep you coming back, here is a picture of Topher's impression of me trying to get ready for church at 9 in the morning. Simpl...
