Sew What's New?: Better late than never

http://sewwhatsnew-carla.blogspot.com/2009/03/better-late-than-never.html

Friday, March 6, 2009. Better late than never. I started Bonnie Hunter's (www.quiltville.com) New Year's Eve Mystery "Double Delight" last month and have been busy cutting a gazillion pieces and sewing little nine patches. All I bought were 5 or 6 fat quarters in blues and the rest is coming from my stash. Yay! Spring break is in another week so I hope to be able to finish putting the top together then. I think that I'm going to love this one. I can't wait to see your next project. Enjoy your Spring Break.

Sew What's New?: February 2009

http://sewwhatsnew-carla.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Sent me an email yesterday asking if I was ever going to blog again. It made me think about how much I enjoy reading what others have to say and what they've been doing and how I'd miss certain ones if the blogger stopped posting. I just never really thought that anyone would think the same thing about my blog so it was a surprise when Michelle brought it up. I. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sew What's New?: Busy, busy, busy!

http://sewwhatsnew-carla.blogspot.com/2009/03/spring-break-has-arrived-and-im-loving.html

Monday, March 16, 2009. Busy, busy, busy! Spring break has arrived and I'm loving every minute of it so far. Even doing the laundry and cleaning the house isn't so bad since I know that I don't have to go to work for a week! The jackets shown here. So, when I get a regular pattern to follow, I'm thrilled. I hope to have a good start on them by the end of the week. Looks like your sewing is going to be smoking to get all this work completed on time.but you can do it! Have fun this week. Busy, busy, busy!

Finishes ~ 2008 and prior – Kate quilts…

https://shequilts.wordpress.com/finishes-2008-and-prior

Sometimes knits, but mostly blathers. Finishes 2008 and prior. Finishes 2008 and prior. I have done other stuff, just not always remembered to take a photo and the number of works-in-progress I have is shaming. The year of swaps. I did do other things, but bindings, etc weren’t completed until 2009, so that’s where they’re listed. I got lots of things started, lots of fabric bought, but didn’t seem to complete anything but minis and smaller projects. Received: Marlene at Madam Quilter. QDU Christmas in J...

Sew What's Going On?

Sew What's Going On? Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Have you met Jo-Ann? I realized last year that I could make some things for much less than I could buy them. I love Hobby Lobby and I shop at Hancock's occasionally. For a small store (as compared to the square footage of the other stores), this Jo-Ann store really packs in a punch. I saw lots of fabrics that I am interested in and lots of other things, too. It is nice to have lots of options in Tupelo. Saturday, April 2, 2011. See more in my Etsy shop! I don't...

Sew What's Happening?

Sewing, crafts, and everything else happening in my life at the moment. Sunday, March 22, 2015. DIY burlap ruffled tree skirt. Slightly off season, but I was going through some old photos and remembered I never posted about our new tree skirt! I have been wanting to make a ruffled burlap skirt for some time now. and my lovely dogs gave me a reason to go ahead and do so after they chewed a hole in our other tree skirt. Burlap ruffled tree skirt. I really like how it turned out (and the animals do too....

Sew Whats New

Saturday, June 20, 2015. This is the block that was with her others that was lost. The following 3 blocks are the ones I have completed with one more block to be done that I have not received yet. Here are the 3 I have done. On this block I did a lot of beading around the flowers in the center. Thisone was fun to do. The only thing I am not sure about is the small flower applique I put on the bottom left of the picture. If she does not like it it can easily be removed. Saturday, June 6, 2015. Being a sew...
